Yes, all electric gates are equipped with a manual release mechanism that allows them to be opened and closed manually in case of an emergency or power failure.

How often should electric gates be serviced?

It is recommended that electric gates be serviced at least once a year for residential systems. For commercial and multi-user systems, bi-annual servicing is advisable to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Can I automate my existing gate or garage door?

In most cases, we are able to automate an existing gate and garage/barn door, subject to a survey. Note that we typically do not automate existing 'up and over' style garage doors.

How quickly can PAC respond to urgent repair needs?

We will always do our best to attend as quickly as possible. However, at this time, we do not offer an emergency callout service, so we cannot guarantee a specific response time.

Do I need to be present during the service visit?

It is not always necessary to be present during the service visit, but it is recommended to inform PAC of any specific reprogramming requirements or outstanding issues prior to the visit. Additionally, the engineer needs to be able to gain access to the electric gate or garage door.
